Where to get new engine harness connectors?

I'm in the process of putting a motor back into an S4 TII, sort of an inherited project, I keep finding cut wires and plugs that look like they go nowhere. I've decided to remove the emissions stuff since I don't have emissions testing where I'm at and I think it'll simplify things greatly, since half of it is already removed(no OMP, air pump). During this process a few plugs have snapped off their wires or I've noticed some that are really brittle. I'd like to replace these connectors if possible.

I've found fuel injector ones available at most places, NAPA, Autozone, etc. but I'm having trouble finding other connectors, like the ones for the various sensors like water temp and such. I've searched and found posts about need to rewire a harness and the like, but not where to get the connectors. Jegs has a kit, but the connectors don't look familiar.

I definitely don't have the money to spend on a new harness, or the time to track down a used one that may or may not be in any better condition, so where do people get their connectors?

thanks!

Water temp is just an injector connector, EV1 style. File the bump off the sensor.

The other connectors, such as the TPS, are just standard spade connectors. Most auto parts stores will have a selection of these connectors in a book that you can order.

The others are a bit more complicated since they are older weather tight connectors. Might be in the same book.

Hmm, so just ask to see their book of connectors? So far I've gone into Pep Boys and Advance, and gotten shrugs, looked online at Napa, Autozone and Oreilly and just found the generic terminals like these:

Another thing I was thinking is that for the connectors where the wire is crap but the connector seems ok, can I yank the pin out and re-pin them?

Also, is there a list somewhere of what all the connectors are? Like you said water temp is Bosche EV1, is there a list of the type of connectors? I see lists of bolts and such in the tech section. When I upgrade my computer I'd like to just make a new harness if possible.

thanks again!
