Where do I add manual transmission fiuld?
I thought you added fliud at the top where the shifter is. But an FSM shows a plug is where you add fliud at. But it only shows a Turbo transmission and I don't see some of the plugs that they show. Can anyone help me out? And the plugs the same on a manual transmission. Am I incorrect in wanting to add fliud where the shifter is?

The NA transmission has a drain plug on the bottom, and a fill plug on the drivers side, roughly in the middle of the case.
You do not add oil by dumping it in the shifter housing as the shifter housing is remote and it will take FOREVER for oil to flow (weeks...).

^^^ wow weeeks? that sucks lol.... ive never done that before ..but i hear alot of people say to fill transmission through the shifter housing... but yeah fill plug on drivers side works..but is hard to get to.... i used a tube connected to a little pump..worked just fine.

go buy youself a hand fluid pump from a autoparts store and start pumping a good workout for your shoulder........look for a plug with the square head sticking out on the driver side near behind the starter usally is the in the front section of the gear case using a adjustable wrench

A seized fill plug happened to me once. I used the little trick on my website to fill the transmission from the drain plug (sealed up the plug with some putty while the hose was in place) then quickly pulled out the hose and screwed in the drain plug. Good thing the transmission case air vent was working...
