Anyone know what this is? Found it behind the carpet in the trunk.

If it is not working there are rebuild parts available from Mazda; new mast, housing o-ring, etc.

Flux Capacitor Sorry, couldn't resist.

There are some aftermarket ones out there too. just make sure you know that the OEM motor is "gound activated". if you try an aftermarket power antenna, you'll probably need to run new hot wire to it and rig up a relay using the existing wire (which supplies ground).

Might as well get rid of that

Take a look at the S2000 shorty antennas available.

I will try to post a picture of mine later...

would like to see that shorty antenna, before i bought mine it was taken off and sold...with my power belts and motors too i think.
