A massive amount of custom fabrication. Pretty much everything would need to be custom.

With a tube chassis like that, it's about a simple as welding on mounts and then hooking everything up. You would need to figure out how to mount it to the transmission (bellhousing adapter) and then find clutch components you can mix and match to mate it all up.

This falls under the category of "If you have to ask...".

I'm not talking about chassis fab I can do that. I'm talking about if I buy a rx7 engine or 20b with the tranny off ebay they come set up to be mounted in the front. What tranny parts are needed to mount the rotary in the rear and where can I find them??

It depends on which transmission you are looking at.

There are adapters on the market to fit the rotary to several Porsche transmissions so that is the place to start. Look up Kennedy Engineering.

How do you mount a rotary in the rear end? You have to sneak up behind it...

Anyway, at Deals Gap this year there was a 20b 911. Awesome car, and proof that it can be done...
