For all years, the Luxury, GXL, and Turbo USA cars had the sunroof as far as I know. The other cars may or may not have had them, depending on options and whether the local dealership or owner installed an aftermarket sunroof. A small number of non-USA cars have made their way into the USA, so they may have a different trim.

It is common to swap out 4-lug for 5-lug, and the old 4-lug setup may eventually find its way onto a car with a damaged 5-lug, so I would shop for used cars based on what they actually have now vs. what the Mazda brochure said they had 24+ years ago. This goes for pretty much any component that is easy to swap (engine, transmission, differential, tail lights, etc.)

We have a Sticky on the original specifications of the various FC trims, but keep in mind that they may have had components swapped over the years. For example, I have an 88 SE with a Turbo II hood, Turbo II driveline, NA flywheel (yes, this is possible with major modifications), and 89-91 front fascia. Additionally, I have an 88 Convertible upgraded with the 89-91 convertible top, leather seats, defroster vents, and stereo surround.
