What is this sensor and where does it go?
Hi there. I have a question for you guys..
I have here an attached picture of some sensor which I have no idea where it attaches to... What is this sensor? Airbag right? Well where does it attach to? I've looked thru the FSM and cant find info on where this thing gets attached to. Even before I took my engine apart for the rebuild I just kinda had the zip-tied to the front under the bumper... Thanks for the help guys.

That is part of the Air Bag/Crash Detection on a FD. There should be 2 on the front and one behind the dash. If you are not using an airbag (aftermarket steering wheel) and never plan on returning the car to having an airbag (or selling it to someone who wants it) you can remove them.
The 2 connectors you are looking for will be under the fenders on either side. The 3rd one, behind the dash, you would have to remove the dash to access.o
Edit: Just realized you are reattaching....will be under your front fenders on either side...a blue and orange clip IIRC.
