what parts make up the suspension?

so i searched google but didn't find what i was looking for, or was tooo confusing. One of the first things i usually do to every car i own is get the suspension dialed in. Of course on the FD, ill start with reliability first and then suspension, but i do want to learn what components make up the suspension. My concern is when i get coilovers, i want the supporting parts to make the alignment right.

For my 240 after i got coilovers, i had to get "rear upper control arms" for rear camber, and "toe rods" because they had to be installed in conjunction with the RUCAS. So for the FD, if i get coilovers, what other parts will i need to get? are subframe spacers a must for FD's that are really low?

You don't need anything like that on the FD. The suspension is a race car design so it doesn't need any of the band aids that other cars do.

Quoted for pure truth. The geometry of the stock FD suspension exceeds that of "highly tuned" suspensions on other cars. Aggressive alignments are generally unnecessary because on other cars the alignment is part of the band-aid for the limitation of the suspension.

The part of the suspension that will require some attention is making sure the suspension bushings and pillowballs are in good condition. Likewise for the diff mounts, engine mounts, and powerplant frame. Good tires and a detailed alignment makes for quite the suspension setup.
