welsh plug
hi everyone.
i just recently got my 86 rx7 back from a rebuild and i was driving it the other day and i noticed a pin hole in the welsh plug which was pissing out water.
i am wondering if they should have been replaced during the rebuild and i am also wondering if the one at the front of the enging is hard to replace because by the look of it the front cover has to be removed. .
some help would be much appreciated. thanks

Generally they don't need to be replaced, but it is good practice to do so. Almost no one (including myself) does, however.
You should be able to access it without removing the front cover unless it is under the CAS mounting area, but certainly all the accessories from the front of the engine will need to come off. If it's one under the CAS mount, then the front cover needs to come off.
