Weber 45 on Stockport 12a Help
I recently purchased a 45 weber with a 12a intake, got it slapped on with a regulator, and tried to start it before I installed a new Carter pump. It took a bit of cranking but it did start and run, although kinda lumpy at 650 rpms and really, really smokey. I wasn't really paying attention to the smell of the smoke, but I am certain it smelled like regular rx-7 exhaust: gas and a bit of burnt oil/premix.
Now that I've got the carter p4070 on there, it won't start now matter how much fiddling I do with the mixture screws. The starter cranks the engine at full speed, so the battery is fine. Both of my coils have spark, and both leading plugs have spark. My gauge on the pressure regulator is reading about 3 psi. I've pulled the plugs a couple times and each time they were pretty soaked in fuel. ?????
I'm certain the carb is jetted wrong since the previous owner of the carb said it was on a Volkswagen beetle, but would the extra flow of the fuel pump be enough to prevent it from starting again?
Anyways, I'm totally stumped. Help a noob out, please. Or if someone could recommend a jetting kit I could start out on and test?

Quick little update, I went and checked my jets, e-tubes, etc. And they're all pretty basic starting point for fine tuning the carb (65 f9's for idle, 180 for main fuel, etc)... So, all I've really got left is to reinstall the old pump and see if it'll crank again.
I'll post an update when I get that done, in the mean time, let me know if anyone has any ideas. Thanks
