warning lights always on?
I have a 5 speed 87 non-turbo 7, and my warning lights and volt gauge stay on when the key is turned off and out. Any ideas anyone? there is a 2 wire connector down by the brake/clutch pedals, that when disconnected it shuts them off. It's frustrating to plug and unplug that connector all the time. I think I might just wire it somehow to something else that turns on with ignition. The connector is white, and the terminals are arranged like a " T ". I also noticed that the brake switch and clutch switch connectors are the same and fit also. I'm not sure if they are hooked up correctly. If anyone could look and see what colors the wires going to the connectors are and let me know that would be awesome. If they are hooked up right, then i will have to rewire to something when the key is turned. Thanx

sounds like you have a plug mixed up, with another.
There are multiple plugs on the brake pedal as well as clutch pedal.
The brake wires are Green/White and White/Green at the pedal, Then you also have the cruise control wires.
So what are the wires you have in the plugs?
And if you turn the parking lights on or off (with the Key off) does it effect the warning lights?
