Hi Folks , I have a1989 Non turbo 5 speed with fried Trailing igniter. Does anyone know , What is the aftermarket ignition used to replace the stock ignition ? It seems robbery is being perpetrated if you try to buy a new trailing coil and igniter (1000 bucks BS) I can convert to all aluminum V-8 with Granny's swap kit for 2500 bucks, why would anyone want to spend that kind of cash on a coil??? Need some help with a good deal on trailing igniter or what to replace the system with. Sorry for the rant I need a little help here, I've rebuilt this wankle twice and they want as much for a coil as a rebuild kit ????

 

Just buy a used stock ignitor.

The stock ignition rarely needs upgrading.
