Want to buy 87 tii

Ok so i sold my 88 a while ago and I've decided that I can't live without a rotary so I've been looking around and I have found an ad for this 87 tii and i wanted to see what you guys thought of it. Here's the whole ad let me know what you think.

Heres a 87 Turbo Rx7 with lots of extras, selling because im heading into the miliary. it was my project car i have alot of work into it, if someone appreciates Mazdas rotary rx7 or is a collector this cars for you- The car runs and is very FAST, The Interior is perfect besides the main console, suspension is nice a stiff, brakes are at 80%, Tires (Kumho) 65-75%, it has a minor problem keeping idle right now but might be fix by the time anybody sees it, A dent on the rear diver side fender, it also just recently has a problem starting after a long drive ,it will start find after about 30 min with no problem, dont know what the problem is it has to be electrical , might need a new engine harness or ECU but from what i was told could be as little as a main Relay (easy fix). Chassis has alittle over 94,000 miles on it But has A 92 J-SPC motor shipped from canada with 35,000. this cars for you if like the rx7s and well worth it, these cars are getting very hard to find get yours today.

heres a list of what the car has:
-92 J-SPEC Motor 35,000 miles
-3 in exhaust from turbo to back, No Cat (test pipe), HKS Down Pipe, Custom Test Pipe (AZ Automotive), Apexi Cat back Exhaust 115mm tip

-Earls Braided Stainless Brake Lines
-Earls Braided Stainless Oil Cooler Hoses
-Mazda Trix Front Drill and Sloted Rotors_ Power Slot Rear Sloted Rotors
-Tanabe Front 35mm Sway bar and 18mm Rear
-Koni shocks Front and Rear- Front are Ajs
-S5 (series 5 92) Rims
-Koyo R-Series 3 Row Single pass Aluminum Radiator
-MazdaTrix Stainless Clutch Line
-Spec Stage 2.5 Clutch
-RacingBeat Daul Pulley System, Main And ALT
-MazdaTrix 8mm Ignition Wires
-Sun Auto Grounding Kit
-Battery (Altuma) Relocated to back of driver seat
-Turbo XS BFV

I may have forgotten other stuff im sure i did but thats the most of it, the Price is 2,500 OBO

2,500 is a good price. If lower even better. Good deal overall assuming body is in good shape. You won't find a TII usually for that low that is in good condition.

Get it compression tested.

Research Hot Start problems.

Hot start issue could be leaking injectors, can affect idle too. Idle may also be a dirty BAC or the TPS needs adjusted. It has a few nice upgrades but needs an FCD to go with 3" exhaust or it will have boosting issues.

FCD = Fuel Cut Defencer (aka FCC - Fuel Cut Controller). Read about exhaust issues here:
http://racingbeat.com/resultset.asp?PartNumber=16425

BAC = Bypass Air Control

Take it to a Mazda dealership. Unless you have a compression tester for a rotary which costs around 600 bucks for a 2 rotor tester, it's not 100% accurate using a regular tester.

A piston engine tester will work just remove the Schroeder valve.
