I can't find that thing. My '86 NA FC is an euro-spec so the ignition (and much more) is different from the US ones. Does anyone know where I can find it under my hood?

regards, Andreas

On an S4, the FSM shows it to be a TWO PRONG FEMALE connector right next to the battery. From your picture it seems to be the BLUE connector which has the two prongs. Jumper the two prongs and that will be setting the initial set connector...

In an S5, it would be the SINGLE WIRE green prong jumped to GROUND.

Make sure you power down all accesories (A/C Radio, lights, ect..). When you jumper the initial set connector, you will hear the car idle down a little....

both wires are already connected to the one pin of the ignition coil.

If you cannot find the initial set coupler then you can disconnect the electrical plug to the BAC instead.
