Virgin rx-7 owner
Just purchased a 1988 RX-7 one owner. it has 101,000 miles, never owned a mazda, i'm a GM gut at heart. But situations had nme to by this RX-7 and I would like to add some personal touches to it. It's all stock and I have seen some kool mods people have done. I live in Hollywood Fl,
Anyway I would like to add Power Windows Mirrors, and seats if possible. I also seen push button start wouldn't mind adding that also. I'm also interested in the sideview mirror signal lights but I would want them to be power.
If anybody have any ideas schematics, or places I can by the parts from it would be gretaly appreciated .
I am hoping to make this RX-7 worthy to be posted on the website! thanks!Rotary Rangers!!

Power mirrors are a factory option, so you can just source the parts via a local wrecking yard or the classifieds on this forum. All the wiring is already in the doors. You just need the switches, motors, inner door panels, and a few other random bits.
Power seats are going to be a completely custom install, and the seats in the FC are a bit weird. The passenger seat in particular has one rail higher than the other and at an angle.
Just going to be a matter of visiting the local wrecking yard with a measuring tape to find a set of power seats that fit. You'll need to make a custom passenger rail for sure. Be very careful because almost everything you find will end up way too high.
I'd assume the signal mirrors just connect in parallel with the stock turn signals.
Push button start is easy. Check the 2nd gen FAQ. AutoLoc has some really nice push button start kits.
