Useless stuff in my NA S4 engine bay ?

Wanted to know if anyone could give me some advice on what to lose in my engine bay for 88 NA rx7. Already got rid of the basic stuff like the air pump , acv, bac, a/c, etc. I would like to start taking off vacuum lines from around and below the intake manifold and all unnecessary solenoid valves, pressure sensors, and switches if any! Just looking to clean things up! Don't care much for a rough idle or smoothness... As long as she fires up:P

This may sound like a stupid question but does the sub zero coolant res. hold any particular must for running conditions on start up or after the motor has been warmed up?

Seriously? Stop obsessing over removing things from the engine bay, and start reading the FSM to learn how things actually work. No, you can't remove the pressure sensor and many other things.

The only thing you listed that should go is the sub-zero start system, which has a recall back in '91. It never worked.

You'll really clean up your engine bay then.

In all seriousness you can do things like:
-Remove the HVAC stuff.
-Remove power steering stuff.
-Convert to electric fan.
-If you don't mind a HP loss or two you can remove the stock airbox and just slap a cone on it. -Relocate the battery to one of the bins.

However the things that you mentioned.. I really wouldn't recommend.

hahahahaha its not your car MR. ROCKET88.. what do you have to worry about?
I was just looking for insight for something i was unclear of! The car aint no daily driver so i dont have to worry severely about running conditions... next thing that is coming out is omp ... anyone have something against this too?

Ps the vehicle is only used on an open lot for sliding... not serious drifting or anything! Just going through old spares and stales until I'm ready to do a bridgeport. Eventually the car will be on a track so the more simple the better.
I already lined up a new rad w/ electric fan and battery relocation.
I may also be fabricating a new intake manifold perhaps an ITB after the brideport of course. That huge charcoal canister is also going after the new fuel cell w/ new lines and filter.
EGR is also coming out when i have the intake out removing the omp lines and injectors.
All thats left in the interior is a driver seat, seat belt, steering wheel, cluster (bolted to the steering column) ECU, wiring and NOTHING ELSE

Is there anything else i can possibly get rid of in the bay?

With 4 posts you are unclear if alot of things.
One is to not jump on someone that is giving you a bit of advice.
By the Way RotaryRocket88 is a MODerator,so maybe Being Kind should be your Forte before Jumping on "just anyone".After all he walks softly but carries a BAN hammer!
Your Car has NO EGR.so obviously you haven't even Researched what your engine really Has on it.Only that it can squeal around a parking lot.
Now,That aside..LOOK UP: rat's nest removal..(and you already know about premixing and OMP removal)
That is what you want to remove from your engine as it is all emissions related and you aren't worried about that.
Good Luck and Welcome to the Forum..Play nice.

According to my Researching eyes, below the intake manifold , on top of the rotor housing and Haynes repair Manuel my 1988 naturally aspirated vehicle IS equipped with egr valve pg 116 chapter 4!!!

And yes is squeals around the parking lot very nicely especially with an open diff!!

Thanks for the rats nest removal idea
