Unhappy UK - RX7 FD - now non runner after few month owning :( HELP !!!

As last resort as I regretable got this on eBay for sale
BOUGHT THIS CAR WITH BOOST PROBLEMS, GOT THAT SORTED, FITTED NEW CLUTCH (exedy) STARTED AFTER THAT FINE, WAS GETTING BOOKED IN FOR ITS 'MOT', THEN 2 DAYS AFTER WHEN TO MOVE IT OUT MY GARAGE AND WOULD NOT START !!!
SPENT COUNTLESS HOURS TRYING TO GET IT STARTED AGAIN,
NO EXPERT WITH THESE AND REALLY GOING TO REGRET SELLING IN THE NON STARTING ORDER IT IS IN AT THE MOMENT.

ITS GOT A REBUILT ENGINE (compresstion of 8.4 & 8.5, also getting spark and fuel??) but not got money or the know how with the car to carry on so, hence why its going up for sale GUTTED !

Tryed towing it, the fuse removal (fuel/cas). Tracing every wire that maybe at fault, basically everything I can think of or researched !

I have 6 sence might be crank sensor or something like, and would hate to sell up for something easy enough to fix - anyone can point me in right direction or live in Manchester area who can come down, I would pay you !!!

Thanks, Matt

You sure its not flooded ?, had the same.no start issue, start by checking.if theres spark if there is., pull out all the plugs , remove your egi fuse , crank.it for 8 seconds , stop give time for your starter to. Cool, do.that 3 times and put the clean plugs in and the fuse and.it.should crank.up, also check.yout battery, low voltage battery can cause flooding

The easiest and cheapest test is to remove spark plugs, clean them with brake cleaner OR replace them (brake cleaner is cheaper haha) and then shoot starting fluid in the intake 2-3secs. Quickly attempt to fire the engine. If it hits and tries to run, but wont continue to run, you may not be getting fuel! check to see if you have fuel pressure.

WGT isn't too far away. I know when I was having running issues they plugged in an Apexi ECU and were able to tell straight away what the issue was.

No worries. They're not the cheapest by any means, but there doesn't seem to be much Pip doesn't know, he has a very good reputation. Let us know how you get on, hope it gets sorted.
