Types of turbos...
Hey all,
I'm slowly (like *very* slowly) beginning to stack up parts for a turbo build, and I've got a question about a manifold I bought.
It was a bargain, so if I can't use it, it's no big deal. I'm unsure as to what kind of turbine housing mates up to this type of flange (t3 t4 etc...), as I have heard that the stock hitachi has a proprietary flange (but something tells me that's only for the series 5 turbo manifolds?)
I'm having some issues finding information directly regarding this topic, so any help is appreciated. Thanks guys.
P.s., I did not come here looking for advice on how to go turbo, so don't give me any of that (flaming, "you have no idea what you're doing", etc...). I understand what I am undertaking. Thanks!

Using a stock exhaust housing isn't the end of the world. Hybrid turbo's have make up to 400whp. bnrsupercars.com ->Products->Mazda->2nd gen RX7.

While you're waiting, you can peruse this thread to see what kind of setups people have run with these hybrids. https://www.rx7club.com/time-slips-d...please-629521/

SWEET.
On a completely unrelated note, I tried to set my TPS the other day. The short range sensor seems to have follow a "on, half, off" mode. Like between the two voltmeters, you start out at both off, one at full 12v, and then both at full 12v.
This reflects in driving, as off gas in gear is a pretty hardcore engine brake, at like 2% throttle the engine makes a weird droning sound and the car pretty much coasts, and then at a certain point after that (let's say 5%) the car accelerates as "normal".
I don't think this is normal, any thoughts? I've got another old TPS off another car I may try to swap over and see if that improves things.
