Turbocharging my 86 na fc
So in august I bought an 86 fc with the intention to build a drift car and I am far from ready to take it to the track I just wanted some input the engine is an na 13b and I’m sure I can get a lot of power out of those 2 Doritos but I’m wondering if I was to turbo charge the engine should I just buy the turbo II engine

welcome to the board.
if you already know that you'll be going turbo, then you should probably just bite the bullet, get a turbo engine and build from there. when it's all said and done, you'll probably be putting the same amount of money and work into turbocharging this one, so cost (not counting the engine purchase) is probably moot.

i do not know any places that sell "new" engines, but there are certainly places you can check to find built engines. whether or not they will want a core from you is something you'll have to find out though. used engines are getting harder to find, and likewise the prices are going up as well. if the Washington in your location is the state, then the closest places i can think of are Atkins or Pineapple. if it's DC, then Jersey or the midwest are the closest places i can think of offhand.
