Turbo Questions
ok i have a few Questions. first is if i was to remove my mas sensor and just run the air filter straight to the turbo what all do i need to do? i see people with just the air filter srtaight to the turbo.. do i need to mess with the ecu if im going to do this? Next it i put a fmic on my car and the vacuum line that went to the stock top mount i just have it plugged rigtht now as i have no where to put it. What it this gonna cause? and where should i plug it into like should i thread a fitting into my tubing somewhere? Thanks in advance to any answers..

If you want to remove the AFM, you will need to convert to a full standalone. As the AFM is the primary load sensor of the stock ECU, the car will not run without it.
I'm drawing a blank on where the vacuum line from the stock top mount intercooler goes. Someone else will likely comment...It's just been a while since I've seen a stock TII.

You can have up to 2 connections on the TMIC. For US engines, you'll have a line for the Air Bypass Solenoid Valve, which is pretty much useless. It's part of the accelerated warmup system, and can be removed. Second, you will have a line for the ASV (Air Supply Valve), which sits on the back side of the UIM. This valve assists BAC function, and boosts idle speed when additional load is placed on the engine (such as the P/S pump). You can get away with removing it, but it is helpful. I don't have one on my engine, but it's because there is no plug to connect it on an NA chassis. J-spec engines will just have the ASV connection.
