turbo II turbo manifold
turbo II turbo manifold
I'm new to the rx7 world I'm about to start a build. I've have been looking for an upgraded turbo manifold for my turbo II but i can seem to find out all the manifolds I've found are for 93+. Do thoses manifolds fit or am I going to have to make a custom one?

The HKS cast manifold is bullet proof.I got one on my FC with a T04.Greddy makes one too but you need an extension for the wastegate.
if you want to spend money, then(no Offence to dealer) A-Spec has a fancy manifold.

Thanks for the input. I actually saw the hks and the a-spec but the greddy one was the only one that said for turbo II and the hks and a-spec they both said 93 and up. So if i am understanding you correctly you are telling me that the 93 and up manifold will fit the turbo II. Am I correct

I never mentioned Fd manifold(?)It will fit,but you may have to modify it.At least that is what I have heard. The turbo may hit the lower manifold.
If you want "easy" then get FC Specific parts..Harder?Then you can get Fd and modify, which means money/time/no driving..wife yells at ya,ya get a divorce, lose the car,house.dog...(country music in Background..)

LOL i was already at this with the shitsubishi i had. But that answer i was looking for. Now i know that there are other manifolds out there besides the greddy also is the hks and aspec a t3 or a bolt on manifold. Reason im asking is because I have a percision 6262 laying around from the shitsubishi still thinking of using that. What are your thoughts on that?

Hks is T4.
A spec can actually build you whatever your little heart desires.(Kaching..$$$$)
You can always grab a t3/t4 adapter but I haven't personally used one,so I can't say whether it would work.
If I were doing it I would stick with one flange size( like T4) so I can upgrade when it comes down to it.

on ebay you can find JDM used CAST HKS/rmagic/etc manifolds, at reasonable prices. i'd highly recommend sticking with cast as they have much higher heat resistance and less prone to cracking. otherwise spend the top dollar on a high quality stainless one, the typical ebay/cheap crap manifolds will crack the first time you get it hot.
