Remove catalyzer...how to?

Like the title.

I arrive from my experience with my Yamaha R1.

I removed the "Y" where the catalyzer is and this removal resulted to be a 5 less KG and -7/10 °C during engine idling.

I have no problem with sensor becouse it's mounted before the catalyzer.

My question is.

Is possible to do this on FD3S?
Ok is possible but...can I simply create a same diameter pipe (in steel or titanium) and remove the catalyzer or I have to do other work? (in electronic for example)

There are pre-made piece at human price?

I have no problem with emission test (here they are a sort of circus show XD)

Pretty much any aftermarket downpipe will delete the precat. If you want to get rid of the main cat, you'll need a midpipe and a pair of earplugs because your car will be LOUD.

Replacing the precat with a downpipe will free up your exhaust, weigh less and keep your engine bay cooler. It's at the top of the list of reliability mods for the FD3S.

What about a homemade silencer with a littlem glass wool inside to counter the increased noise?

I ask this becouse My motorbike is not more loud under 10k revs (only a lower tone sound)

Over 10k revs is loud...

BTW thanks for the answer

Molto bene

That would be a great and inexpensive idea, but the rotary engine runs so hot that most glass-pack type mufflers just burn up.
Something made specifically for an RX-7 will last the longest.

Sorry for the terrible Paint XD

What about a thing like this fitted in the exaust muffler (in addition of the stock cut and resonationc hamber)

If cut are too loud i think that a lot of 6/8 mm hole can be a lot quieter
