Turbo conversions
So..... I blew the 13B n/a in my '91 convertible.
I got to thinking that convertin' the 'vert to a turbo has been done, and seems relatively straight forward...
Is it?
Which is the best turbo to put in it? S4 or S5?
What are the differences between the S4 and S5
Used JDM import motors? worth it? What do I look for?, besides the ECU's, and which one of them is the best?
What of the 13B-REW from the FD? along with the tranny?

Awesome link!!
You get x-mas cards from me introVert.
Now: I'm curious as to why one cant simply turbo a n/a motor??
What are the internal diffs between a "n/a" & turbo motor, if any???
I get the necessary upgrades in the drivetrain for reliability/durability concerns, and the total difference in ECUs....
Why cant one use a "n/a" motor for turbo applications?

I must admit to not using the search button alot; I do (TRY) to use it, but must be a poor "searcher" cuz i seem to get results that are not what I'm searching for.
Yes, I can be impatient.
Very informative thread by A.C.; thanks.
I bookmark them, when I get them...

"rx7club front cover oil leak"
this helps in some relevance

oh yea, try to search up "6 port turbo" and try the google way
i'll educate you guys on this a bit. the other difference in na motors and turbo motors. turbo motors have only 4 ports and na motors have 6 port. the reason it has 6 ports is because the 5th and 6th ports are for the auxiliary ports. the turbo has knock sensor and the na doesnt. turbo rotors results in lower compression(8.5:1 ratio), the na rotors has a higher ratio because its natural aspirated(9.1:1). that's all i came sum up for now.
