I'm certain that there is a FAQ topic some where on this board covering transmission swap from TII to GSL-SE but I can't seem to find it. I have a GSL-SE that may require a transmission rebuild but parts are hard to find if it's even available.

Would swapping with a TII transmission be a good idea or should I look into a different one?

Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated!

 

I'm not a 1st gener, but i would think it would be no different than swapping from a n/a drivetrain to t2, which means you'll need the turbo clutch, flywheel, starter, and driveshaft, you'd be cheaper off finding a trans out've another 1st gen
