tranny swap

alright guys i need help. i dont have all the parts to do the whole swap this weekend, but my car needs a new clutch. dont wanna waste the money on a na clutch when in 2 months ill have no use for it. what do i need to do, to get the turbo clutch to work... i have all the tranny parts na to t2 driveshaft stage to clutch... do i use the turbo flywheel? or leave the na. can i use the na shift fork and throwout bearing? is there a wright up of this? i know typically people use na with a t2 but can i reaverse it and use turbo setup with na?

There are about a billion threads with this info, but I'm feeling nice...

TII transmission and matching crossmember, TII flywheel (of same series!), TII slave cylinder, TII starter, custom TII to NA driveshaft if using NA rear end (or TII driveshaft if using TII rear end).

TO bearings are the interchangeable. Shift fork is a maybe, but I have no idea why you would want to switch them. Is the one on the TII transmission damaged?

rocket; just to give you an idea of what you consider common knowledge can be missed by us novices--- went to check compression on a na engine, bolted up a turbo trans and starter cause that is what i had, hit the remote switch and whirr!! was planning to put my t2 engine in my little car keeping the na gearbox. well now i cannot use my light t2 flywheel. all this because it never dawned that the t2 uses a larger dia flywheel. if I keep reading here some day i will be smart enough to ask an inteligent Question. now the advice to this lad is bite the bullet and replace the na clutch and wait till you have all the parts to switch to the t2 trans and the best is to change the complete drive line, parts will mix but they don't like to.

Well, this info is in the FAQ, which is the first place anyone needs to check before asking a question.
