Hello, im starting to have issues with my tranny hopefully ican get some help

my tranny is being very difficult to put it in reverse. it feels like it wont even budge.
i tried shifting to 1st then to reverse and even letting off the clutch some. its up to the point where i would have the car off inorder to put it in reverse..

from a standstill do you get resistance shifting into first as well? my thoughts are to troubleshoot and confirm all the hydraulics (particularly the slave) are working first. after that, look into checking the pilot bearing.

for 1st gear it always goes in, but not compared to reverse that seems like it has a brick wall!
