Track prep for an 87 RX7 non-turbo - 24 Hours of Lemons!

Hey all, I'm trying to do some research for our team, we're looking to participate in the 24 Hours of Lemons using an 87 RX7 non-turbo. I'm new to the RX7, as are most of the guys involved. The cage is going in as we speak. I've been tasked with trying to find out about any weak points of the car or known issues that will need to be addressed while we start planning the track prep. I'll be browsing the forum and the web for a lot of this but figured it made sense to ask, since what we're doing is pretty specific. Obviously, since we're looking to track the car not a lot of the stuff in the archives will apply. I know I'll have to sift through a lot of data to find anything useful for what we're doing, which is why I figured it would be good to start a thread. Maybe you guys can point me to some resources and possibly offer some advice on the car.

Hopefully posting this request isn't frowned upon. Thanks in advance!

Here's more info on the events we'll be entering, for those who aren't familiar:

On top of all the regular stuff, sparkplugs, filters and oil and new brakefluid +pads. I would make sure that the radiators are clean and use only 10-15% antifreeze +water wetter and water,
Keep it cool, man. Good Luck

This is a pretty good blog that gives a good idea about running in Chimpcar Series (similar to Lemons)
