Tps issues

Hi
I have a series 5 turbo. It has a idle problem where it won't idle when warm. The front half of the tps has had it's wires cut (by previous owner). Would this affect the idle issue?

Silly me,but wires cut to a sensor telling the ecu where the throttle plates are so that it can control fuel..
it may have "something" to do with it.

Are the wires still cut or were they reconnected?

The wires are still cut. It's the lot of wires on the front half of the tps.
