Title Question
If you build a car from the ground up and then turn around and buy a shell with either a "Salvaged" title or "Non-Rebuildable Title" but as far as the eye and an inspector can see the car is in better shape than any current model being produced (any brand) do they have to over turn their decision?
i'm asking more along the lines of what hot rod builders do when they basically build a car and there is no title or documentaion in sight other than what the car is said to be and maybe some manufactures papers of what they brought. How do they go about registering their vehicle? I'm asking because I know in the end what I'm going to do with my car but at the same time I don't start or I should say build anything I can't drive and I see myself maybe running into some bumps here in CA when it comes time to actually register a vehicle that says one thing, looks nothing like what it is supposed to look like, pop the hood and all the internals are not a match to what the car is suppossed to be, and to top it off everything is in working order and salvage should probably be more like exotic in terms of appearance and condition?
