new starter?

CA new starter?

so i went to start my fd today and when i turned the key nothing happened. im guessing its the starter. how much will it cost me to get a new one?

Or you have a dead battery.

Do the headlights AND horn work? If they don't or are weak, you probably have a bad battery or bad battery connections.

my headlights work, power fc works, stereo works, and turbo timer works. so im guessing its the starter. im gonna have to bump start the car to find out i guess. am i right?

Try standing in front of the car with the headlights on, and have someone try and start the car. If the headlights dim way down, it's probably a battery issue. If they don't dim at all, it's probably a starter issue. If it's the starter, try rapping it pretty good with a hammer. If it works, you need a new starter.

My rex's starter spins but is not engaged to turn it over, i replaced starters and the new one is doing the same thing????
