Time for a rebuild? Opinions.

That is a video of what my car does regularly, on cold start-up. Regardless of temperature...for example it was 72 F today. I'm thinking it could be a warped water jacket seal in the housing, and I might need a rebuild... Let me know what you guys think

Probably just condensation in the exhaust.

I hope so, and Aaron I watched your rebuild video twice now :P So if I do have to rebuild it I'm completely prepared for what a huge pain in the *** fitting the apex seals is going to be. Also I -do- live in Arizona- and I was thinking that much water condensing in my exhaust was way out of place. I have another problem, too...but I'll look for more solutions before I post a thread about it. Thanks guys

I am in Arizona as well and I have noticed increased water in my exhaust this year on the Vette... I just shrugged my shoulders but I did find it weird.

I agree I think you have nothing to worry about just something weird in AZ lately lol.

Remember, water vapor is a natural byproduct of burning gasoline. It condenses in the exhaust after the engine has been shutdown. Then a few temperature swings later, and the differing air temperatures inside vs. outside the exhaust mean an accumulation of a lot more condensation.
