thinkin about a engine swap

well the story goes i bought a 2003 tiburon GT in 04 with 20k on the odometer. now its got about a 113k and about 2 years ago it got stollen and wrecked. when i got it back and i only had liability insurance on it it was in bad shape sevral dents ,scratched paint, blown engine ,tore up, and sevral cases of empty beer cans and other really bad things.
now ive got the car pieced back together and am building this car to be a real one of a kind ive started on the 2 seater roadster convertable mods now, its now got a real nice body kit, carbon fiber hood, full exhaust, only thing im missing is a few more dents to be pulled and some paint.

so the reason im on here is i was thinkin about swaping the V6 thats in there to a rotary engine, the engine to me seems like the best thing i could do i could spend 10k on a hyundai engine rebuild with a 12 pis blower and maybee get 350 to 360 whp or i could stuff this type of an engine in here and the skys the limit aslong as the trans holds up and the cv shafts dont explode!! ive been in touch with a custom engine/trans adapter fabricator in california but i cant seem to find any demesions of the engine. i really wana know if im waisting my time if the 13b wont fit in to my engine bolted up to the adapter to my stock 6 speed tran.

i wanted to run some kinda stand alone ecm and keep the OEM on to run the ABS system. i know there will be a sleuggh of problems before i get this running but if any one had an ideas if it could fit that would be stellar!!!! im a seasoned mechanic with sevral years of fabing under my belt so no worries there.

any help would be awesome, nomeclature would be even beter on the block and some real life demensions with all the accesories could get me started,

also pondered the idea of making this a real wheel drive/mid engine car sense ive got rid of my trunk and back seats. but im not shure yet that would be if i cant do this,

thanks for the help if i have fun here i will defiantely buy an RX7 ive always wanted one anyways

I've never been one to say this before, really, but if you have to ask these questions you probably shouldn't attempt this.

Also I believe that the rotary engine is not the monster you've been told it is. I suggest you do some real homework on what a turbo rotary is capable of at different budgets. And also what to expect for a torque curve.

Having said all that, you van swap anything into anything really. Just depends on how much money and time you have.

wait u want to stick a rotary(rwd motor) on a tiburon(fwd car) ? that sounds expensive. ur not just gonna have to fab an adapter for ur tranny and do new engine mounts. u gotta deal with the whole emissions and ignition system being different. sounds like ud be better off dropping a built b18 honda motor in. ur not gonna get much hp in a rotary without forced induction. ur lookin at alot of time and money to do a swap like that

No

There is no free lunch. A 350hp rotary swap will cost exponentially more than building the stock motor already in the car to the same level regardless of work required to the stock engine. You would essentially be doing a bunch of work and not making the car do anything better than it already does.

As for making the rotary FWD or converting the tib to rwd, I think someone said it before me "if you have to ask..."
