Make sure your aux ports are still opening.
dude you cant do **** for cheap on rx-7's when an OEM oil pressure sender is 79.00... good luck drifting...the tires cost will be enough to scare you alone! not really such a thing as "free mods"

At 13 PSI it put down 392 RWHP on a conservative tune, around 420 a bit later on a better tune. Turned the boost up to 16 PSI just a few months ago but have not been back to the dyno. Somewhere around 500 RWHP.
thats amazing!! i have read you almost complete guide to turbo NA .and a couple differant things on your site. keep the good work
I have a dsm too as my daily and I can attest for them being horrible haha I think I've replaced my drivers door handle like 6 times. if you baby them they can be decent cars, mine is my commuter. as for free mods with any car weight reduction is not only free but can make you money. Depending where you live if you car has a sunroof you probably never use it, take it out, sell it. A/C? take it out, sell it. If you're like most rx7 owners your car is too low to use the jack and supplied spare tire in the case of an incident anyways, take it out. retarded power seat belt things? take it out. etc... power to weight ratio's are all too much overlooked.
A free mod too drift could be welding the diff. my fc was welded and made a lot of noise as well as tire chirping around corners. but this also takes away any performance going around corners unless you are side ways..
I think u meant: mitsu starion & chrysler/dodge conquest and mitsu eclipse & eagle talon and mitsu 3000GT & dodge stealth...
Ugh why is it that everyone rats on DSM's for being unreliable? I have a 91 Talon TSI AWD with 312,587 miles (at the time of this post) on the original engine and trans and I've DD it for the past 7 years with no issues. Other than maintenance, the only things I've done was have the ECU capped, and Installed a 2g MAF, 2g Exhaust Manifold, an eBay turbo and FMIC + upgraded the fuel system
I'll admit that the 7bolt 4G63's are crap though when it comes to crankwalk.
Anyways I'm not sure about how much OP weighs but a good "free mod" is to go on a diet and exercise, it wont gain you much performance and probably won't be noticeable for drifting, but generally speaking less weight=better
