rx7 convert, have installed new fuel pump, wanted to test before closing up truck area, is it ok to pull fuel line , turn engine over and watch for fuel coming out of top of pump, just a quick start to make sure it is working . Then will hook up fuel lines feeling confident pump is operational. Thanks for any input to this question

U can get a small fuel gauge to mount upfront. Ask around.
