WA Testing check valves?

So they may be a stupid question, but how exactly, or what is the best way to test a check valve to make sure it is working properly and not leaking? I have looked around, but havent really seen anything on how to test them. I need to test the check valve that comes off the pressur tank to the secondary turbo. I have read that could be a possible cause for low secondary boost.

Air should only go one way. You can blow into it or use a hand air pump.

So one more noob question on here. i pulled off the check valve and tried to blow thru it. One side, the side that checks the flow, i couldnt blow thru. good news. ok so the side the air is supose to travel thru i could barley get any air to go thru it. how hard it it suppose to be to blow thru?

It's been too long since I screwed with a check valve but the bore for inlet and outlet is pretty small. It may be hard to blow thru with your mouth. If you have a small vacuum pump like what is used to bleed brakes try using that. Since there's more than one check valve, you could also pull off another and compare the two.
If you're unsure about them, a veteran member here named DaleClark sells a set of four check viton check valves with barbed ends for < $20 shipped. ----> http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/RX-7-...item43a686f0ca
His check valves are cheaper and way better quality than OEM... probably the last check valves you'd ever have to buy. Alot of us are running them on our cars. Good stuff, but you can search the 3rd Gen. section for threads if you want.
