Tail light issue

Hi I just picked up a 90 FC gtu, and it has an issue with the tail lights not turning on when the headlights are turned on. The breaklights work fine just The running tail lights don't work. Is it possible the switch is bad or a fuse popped. I'm bad with electrical stuff. Any help would be appreciated!

If you can find me a wiring diagram, I can point you in the right direction. At work and a quick search didn't come up with too much.

I couldn't find a wiring diagram but I ordered a fsm so I'll have to try posting again when it arrives,as I'll have the diagrams for the harness.

Ah crap didn't know about that. Well it was only 10 bucks new so I'm not too hurt. Is there any other free/nice to have things I should look into?

it has a pic of the fuse layout on the Driver's side kick panel.Check the Illumination fuse.
Also the bulbs need to be checked if you haven't done so already.

I am thinking it is not a harness issue as your brake lights work.
