Exclamation T-Stat Housing Options? V-Mount (PICS INSIDE)

Running a V-Mount setup on my pile, and want to know if there is any other options for a thermostat housing or if I am going to have to result to some fabrication; basically it is too high and not in line with the upper outlet of the radiator.

Picture doesn't necessarily do justice of the angle I am working with but here it is...

I think chopping off the radiator inlet, then welding it on better angle would be your best bet. You'd need a small piece of aluminum tubing to make the correction.

You could try a first gen outlet as its shorter and steel and you could cut it and reweld it how ever you need it.

This is what it looks like on my motor, and yes it will work on the 2 gen water pump housing i have test fitted a 2 gen outlet to see how it would fit thats how i know it will work.

Or a S6 WP/T-stat housing. But not sure if it will bolt up. You'll have to do some checking. At minimum you would have to block-off the turbo coolant line ports. What short-block are you using? I see an S6 UIM.

Your also gonna need a LONG alternator belt.

I am going to give the 85 t-stat housing a shot; it will probably work since I can cut and re-weld if necessary, but if all fails I might consider that. I appreciate the feedback

btw it is a s4 block with a s6 UIM, nothing crazy, I'm new to this rotary scene
