Switched [ignition] Live In Boot [Trunk], fuel pump no power
Right I have no idea why power isn't making it to the back. I've got to assume it's the immobilser in the car. Everything up front is reading power on the multi meter. Including diagnostic port, but the pump doesn't start when bridging GD and FP. The FP relay switches and is getting voltage, the pump resistor has voltage but 0v makes it to the white/red wire and in to the pump.
So I'm about to do the pump rewire as pictured this will bypass everything in the engine bay. Battery is already in the boot [trunk]. For Pin 86 on the relay can I use any ignition switched live or does it have to be this red/white wire for whatever reason.
I've read the red wire on the fuse box pictured below is a switched live. [Not my pictire]. Can I run a fused wire down the car straight to pin 86 from this point?
Or is there an ignition live in the boot [trunk] anywhere?
Failing that can I run power to 86 straight from the battery with a 20amp fused switch?
Is there any issues with any of this?
Car is a 93 FD3S JDM.
