sunroof sticking

hey guys i just cleaned as good as i could with all the railing for the sunroof and greased it again with white lithium grease it and it still sticks and needs help with opening and closing i dont know can it just be the motor going out and if so can you rebuild them? i need help

Your cables are gummed up and you should see if you can lube them.It requires pretty much taking the assembly off.

oh sorry its a 1990 FC and i was going to take the thing that looks like a spring but it was hard to get the little screws out and i started to stripe them so i stopped doing that any tips how to get them off should i use a drill screw instead of a screw driver?

I have an 87 FC and the sun roof sticks both on opening and closing. I need to push up on it so that it opens and closes properly. IF that helps.
