hi

i just bought this car and has equipped the power FC, temps seem to be in a good zone and oil pressure also... BUT this knock gauge fills up more as i step more on the gas pedal, is this something i should be concern about OR is possible that its just picking up knocks off the insanely loud exhaust system the previous owner installed?

any suggestions would be great, also when she idles at times oil pressure seems to drop to nearly killing the engine all together NOTE: only happens on hills?

I can't answer your Power FC questions because I simply because I don't know. however, if you're getting a knock warning, then wouldn't it be prudent to NOT step on the accelerator more? why risk it?

as for your oil pressure question, (I will assume your level is adequate) start by checking the connection at the sensor. it may simply be loose, dirty or both.

hopefully i will be able to learn a lot from this site as i plan to do lots of work on this car.

the knock is weird because the engine seems to be running excellent and at an idle there is no knock but as soon as i step on the gas (lightly just regular driving) then it starts to go up it doesnt fill up all the way though and if i put the car back to neutral letting go of the accelerator it goes away.
