I have a 91 FC vert, 120k miles hasn't ran in almost a year, battery is out, car went into limp mode last time I tried driving, ive done some research on the symptoms and im positive it is the OMP, I have a used replacement I wanna swap in there for the time being before I get the car completely rebuilt, im no mechanic by any means but love to learn about this car. ok to the point, im having a hard time removing the OMP and I live in minot ND and tuning shops don't exist here so I have to do it myself, ive taken off the intake, close to removing air pump and from there my question is what else will I have to remove to access the omp? and if I get the new omp in there what should I do besides change oil and flush to hopefully get this thing cranked over? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated since I don't have enough knowledge on this car.
