Hi

I have got a 1994 rx7 FD r2 which has just started making a creaking/clicking noise from the rear wheel. Just before I bought the car it had the rear wheel bearing replaced and has been fine for the 5 months i have owned it.

It started the other day when I was parking it, i had the window down and could hear this faint creak/click noise coming from the wheel which at first i thought may have just been a stone in the tyre. It wasn't a stone and over the last week it seems to have got slightly louder but Im not sure if that is because i have tuned into the noise.

I have jacked the car up and span the wheel by hand and it does'nt make any noise at all, i also cant feel any play in the wheel or susspension.

I was thinking driveshaft {cv} bearing but thought it would make the noise wheather the wheel was on the floor or not. It has got some old OZ split wheels on it, could that be the cause of the noise {how tight should those small bolts be?}, or anyone got any ideas??
