Storing my rex for the winter help/tips

Hey guys, im gonna be puttin my 93 rex to bed for the next 9 months as canadian winters are cooool and i will be on a firefighting course until next aug

I found this on the net and was wondering if you guys have any extra tips to add or some things that are really not neccesary, good expample is, do i hafta change my hoses after only a year of sitting like it says on this? mine are viton not rubber though....

As long as the hoses were not 20+ years old before storing the car, you should be fine not replacing them. But thoroughly inspect them to be sure.

nah man, don't worry about the hoses. i think if you do everything that they said on the site you posted, that'll be more than enough.

When it says spray the foggin oil into the intake at higher RPM then drop idle and spray the oil continously and allow to stall.... does that mean when i drop the idle and continue to spray a steady stream in it will automaticly just bog out and stall?
