Stock ECU error code 09

Just did the paperclip test on my 1993 rx7 r1 and I got error code 09 which I think is a water thermo sensor but also a engine Coolant temp sensor anybody know for sure what it is and where the sensor is located. Thanks

yes. it seems to correlate to a possible failure of the coolant temperature sensor.

water thermo sensor = engine coolant temp sensor. its green in the back of the water pump housing.

I pulled out what I think is coolant temp. Sensor but the new one doesn't fit part #:SU4007 at autozone
