Stock ECU error code 09

Just did the paperclip test on my 1993 rx7 r1 and I got error code 09 which I think is a water thermo sensor but also a engine Coolant temp sensor anybody know for sure what it is and where the sensor is located. Thanks

yes. it seems to correlate to a possible failure of the coolant temperature sensor.

for whatever reason the aftermarket has a lot of errors in their listings for just about everything, https://www.mazdatrix.com/93-95Electrical-Engine.htm scroll most of the way down, its the NF02-18-840
