NY Starting problems

I have a 1980 rx7, which has being sitting for 2 years. I removed old gas, replaced gas, battery, spark plugs, fuel filter, distributor cap & rotor, and distributor wires. When I attempt to start the car I get a small puff of white some from tailpipe and nothing more. Checked spark plugs after several attempts and found only 2 plugs were wet. Does anyone know what I should try next?

Is the fuel pump running?

Try putting about an ounce of oil into each leading spark plug hole, rotating the engine by hand, repeating, and then trying to start. You may just need to build up compression.

Apex seals are stuck. First, check to make sure you've got spark at the plugs. Second, clean those plugs as you check them...if they've been in there a while, just get new ones cuz you're gonna need them. Third, after the plugs are all back in, get a capful of tranny fluid and pour it down the primary throttle bores of the carburetor. Fourth, make sure the battery is fully charged and you're gatting a jump from another running car. Fifth, hose down the air cleaner with Gumout carb cleaner and then try to start the car.

There's gonna be smoke. A lot of it. Keep revs under 3000 rpm under any and all circumstances until everything has warmed up.
