Question Starting Problem

Okay. I have been driving my 1984 RX7 around for a few weeks and love it. However, lately I have been having some issues with starting the car. I replaced the Alt/Fan belt and will check that again to make sure that it is not too loose. Listed below are my issues:

1) Takes the car w little while to start. Started is good and the engine is trying to turn over, but takes a while to catch.

2) When it does start, it sounds like it is running off of 1 rotor. After 10-15 seconds the second one fires up and the car is fine.

When the car starts and engine is warm, it drives like a champ. I am rebuilding the carb this weekend and hope to fix some of the issues. Has anyone else seen this before?

Thanks,
Chris Rogers

I just did a complete tuneup. It has a new cap and rotor. I am rebuilding the carb this weekend and fixing a few things this weekend. I hope that fixes my problem. Thanks for the recommendations though.
