Starting problem.

So after a few weeks of bringing my FC back from the dead, it finally works and runs great.

The only problem is after i run it for a while, if i turn it off it doesn't start back up. IT will eventually, after i've let it sit for a bit.

To me, it just sounds like its flooded, but I'm new to rotaries so I'm hoping it's nothing else.

Common hot-start issues. Leaky fuel injectors cause it, and sending them out to be cleaned will help. I use Witchhunter Performance (http://www.witchhunter.com/); $18 per injector.

To help for now, pull the green 40A EGI INJ fuse under the hood, spin the starter, put the fuse back & start the car. This is the flood clearing procedure. Pulling the fuse keeps the fuel pump from running.

I also have a problem starting my 1986 non turbo. The vehicle hasn't been touched in 5 years and recently I inherited the vehicle from my uncle. The car wiring has been chewed up due to being left in a barn and mice most likely chewed it away. We did manage to get the vehicle to turn with some splicing of the wiring but it still struggles to start. I hope I can get some suggestions of how to get the vehicle started and running for now.
Thanks in advance.

With mine, all it needed was an oil change and some new spark plugs.

(Well, that and a massive amount of carb cleaner sprayed into the intake.)

If you haven't already, i suggest you start there.
