It Started with a Busted radiator hose

Ok. Ive got a 88rx7 Vert. and I was driving home. when my coolant lite and buzzer came on.. so i parked it. and got a new hose. after putting a new one on. and making sure there arent any leaks. i started to driver her home again. but to no avail. my Heater core is busted. found out when steam bellowed out from my dash. and after bypassing the heater core, my speed gauge doesnt work and my power steering works for the most part. but it sometimes stops working. and when i drive it. it doesnt gain any miles. Does anyone have an idea of how to get my gauge working? and possibly why my ps sometimes works.

any and all help is greatly appreciated!!

You may have pulled the speedometer cable out of the back of the instrument cluster while you were working on the radiator hose. Check under the dash and I bet you will find the cable very loose.
