did you check the fuel lines for proper hook up?
JDM fuel lines are "reversed",compared the USDM engine.
So you should make sure that the line from the fuel filter actually goes to the primary rail..not the end of the secondary( that would be where the gas is returning).
Hook the fuel up wrong you get Start and starve..die..
It may get Fuel when the lines are reversed,BUT just enough to start the car,and then it Can't GIVE it any more as the pump is trying to give fuel to the engine in the wrong direction. The engine will just die, fuel starved.

Are you pressing down on the pedal before you start the car or immediately after it turns over.

Sounds like a possible problem with TPS related items. I've seen other makes have the same connector for MAP sensor as well as the TPS and people often swap them incorrectly and the symptom is that it'll idle but die soon as you step on the throttle.

Ok satch i am pressing on the pedal before to start it and it keeps an runs fine but if i do not do that and start it it keeps on dieing so i have to turn it over couple times before it starts and this is with my feet off the pedal,i also took my plugs out when my engine was cold from over nite to check to see if there were gas on them thinking my injectors were leaking and they were dry and i bought an TPS adjustment light from banzia racing and if i adjust the tps it still does it,but i notice that when i adjust the tps and start the car run it for a while at idle with a couple revs and shut it of and put on the tps light back on the plug and turn on the swicth it shows two light and not one light as when i adjust it before and i am getting some puffs like it cough sometimes, just need my car to run smooth, also i have check for vaccum leaks and found nothing any help will be grateful thanks guys

In brief, the S5 has a deflooding aspect to it, which is achieved by pressing down on the pedal before start. Since you have to do this to get the car to start up properly then it would be a bit wise to assume that your engine is a bit flooded when you start the car so it's good that this procedure is at least working for you and I wouldn't be too alarmed at this point until this procedure works no more. These cars do not like being shut off before the engine can properly heat up or the car can easily flood. No start the car just to move it in the driveway and turn the car off after it has been run for just a minute. Also, the injectors could be leaking a bit and servicing them 'might' be an option. Then there is the tired old engine which could be the cause of the flooding. Many folks will install a fuel cut switch to fight against the flooding issue, but this seems a distant option for you as it appears.
