You really don't need to prime the system. Just crank the car until it starts.

He replaced the fuel lines which is why he wants to prime the system in order to check for possible fuel leaks.

And I cranked it over and over and over and nothing. I'm afraid that I'm going to burn out my starter or wear out my battery with the excessive cranking.
